The Spring Hill College men's soccer team dropped its final regular season match of 2007 to the University of West Florida (NCAA Division 2) by a score of 6-0 on Friday night in Pensacola, Fla.
The Argonauts out shot the Badgers 31-6 and held a 4-0 lead going into the halftime intermission. "The outcome was not reflective of our players' effort tonight," said Spring Hill Head Coach Adam Pearce, "We kept fighting down to the final horn. I am extremely proud of our players because they've given us their all every time out this year."
Spring Hill (3-12-2, 0-3) will next play the University of Mobile in the opening round of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament at Hattiesburg, Miss., on Friday, October 26 at 1 p.m.
