The Spring Hill College women's soccer team rolled to an 11-0 non-conference victory over the Wiley College Wildcats (0-2) at Library Field on Saturday afternoon in the final match of the annual Classic on the Hill invitational.
The Badgers (2-0) built a 10-0 lead by the halftime intermission and then turned the game over to their reserves for most of the second half of play.
Sophomore Courtney Harlan of Mobile scored three goals and assisted with two more scores while sophomore Jaimie Breitweiser added two goals and two assists to the Badger totals.
Freshman Jamie Townley from Pace, Fla. recorded two goals and assisted on a third score in the win. Freshman Darby Rasch of Madison, Ala., tallied a goal for SHC as did sophomore Sidi Genus of Great Bay, Jamaica, freshman La'shelle Lett of Pensacola, Fla., and senior Molly Cowley of Jefferson City, Mo.
The Badgers outshot the Wildcats 26-2, including 20 shots on goal as Wiley goalkeeper Gabrila Mercado made nine saves for the visitors. SHC took seven corner kicks while the Steers failed to earn a corner attempt.
The Badgers will next travel to Columbia, Mo., on Friday for a non-conference match at Stephens College beginning at 4 p.m.
