MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Spring Hill College volleyball team took two victories away from the final day of the Faulkner University Invitational on Saturday with a 3-0 win over Warner University at the morning session and a nip-and-tuck 3-2 afternoon battle against Webber International University.

In the opening match, freshman Madison Seuzeneau of Tampa, Fla., scored 19 kills as the Badgers won 27-25, 25-19, 25-9 over Warner. Fellow freshman Molly Griffin of Westlake Village, Calif., added 12 kills while senior libero Meredith Donald of Mobile collected 19 digs and senior setter Taryn Nash of Independence, Mo., contributed 43 assists.

The event's final match for Spring Hill saw the Badgers claw out a 25-20, 24-26, 25-16, 25-27, 15-13 win over Webber International with junior Megan Haber of Lillian, Ala., smacking out 18 kills and six block assists. Senior Sha Sha Buchanan of Mobile had 14 kills and two solo blocks while Nash dished around 67 assists. Junior Sami Maurer of St. Louis, Mo., roped in 18 digs in the marathon match.

Following the tournament, Nash was named to the 2013 Faulkner Invitational All-Tournament Team.

The Badgers (11-3) will host Tougaloo College (0-1) in a non-conference match on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
