The Spring Hill College women's soccer team took a 9-0 non-conference victory over the Judson College (Ala.) Eagles on Sunday afternoon at Library Field.
The Badgers held a 3-0 lead at the intermission and then saw an explosion of goals from their reserve players in the 2nd half.
Spring Hill outshot the Eagles (0-2) by a 42-0 margin as freshman Darby Rasch from Madison, Ala., scored a hat trick with goals in the 6th, 13th, and 49th minutes of play.
Other goal-scorers for SHC included sophomore Hannah Michael of New Orleans, La., in the 39th minute, sophomore Courtney Harlan of Mobile in the 54th minute, junior Erin Claxton of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in the 56th minute, sophomore Jaimie Breitweiser from Daphne, Ala., in the 64th minute, freshman Jamie Townley of Pace, Fla., in 76th minute and La'shelle Lett of Pensacola, Fla., in the 81st minute.
SHC goalkeeper sophomore Maggie Dalessio (2-1) of St. Petersburg, Fla., picked up the shutout win while Judson's Katrina Adcock took the loss with 12 saves.
The Badgers (4-1) will next host non-conference foe Tennessee Temple University (1-2) on Monday, September 16, at 2 p.m. on Library Field.
