The Spring Hill College volleyball team warmed up for the start of their conference schedule this weekend with a quick 3-0 (25-4, 25-8, 25-9) victory over non-conference opponent Tougaloo College on Tuesday night at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
SHC was led by freshman outside hitter Madison Seuzeneau of Tampa, Fla., who scored 17 kills while sophomore setter Mallory Raulerson of Mobile handed out 24 assists. Freshman defensive specialist Lindsey Pecoraro of Chesterfield, Mo. collected three digs and six receptions.
The Bulldogs (0-3) were paced by Alexandria Thompson with five kills and five digs.
Spring Hill built a .507 (42-8-67) attack percentage and limited Tougaloo to a -.143 (8-15-49) hitting percentage.
The Badgers (12-3) will next travel to McKenzie, Tenn., on Friday to open conference play versus Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) newcomers the Bethel University Wildcats (0-6) at 7 p.m. in the Crisp Center.
