The Spring Hill College volleyball team earned a 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 26-15) conference victory over the Brenau University Golden Tigers on Saturday morning at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.

Senior middle hitter Sha Sha Buchanan tallied 14 kills as junior outside hitter Megan Haber recorded 10 kills and senior setter Taryn Nash distributed 37 assists. Freshman defensive specialist Lindsey Picoraro scooped up 12 digs.

Ellen Lemos had 13 kills while Courtney Deason handed around 17 assists for the Golden Tigers.

As a team, the Badgers finished the day with a .364 (48-12-99) attack percentage with eight aces and three blocks. Brenau hit for a .079 (22-15-89) percentage with three aces and four blocks.

Spring Hill now owns a 13-match, 34-set winning streak and has not lost a conference regular season match since a 3-2 loss at Loyola University (La.) on September 14, 2010 – a stretch of 42 matches.

The Badgers (21-3, 8-0 SSAC) will wrap up this seven-match home stand on Tuesday at 6 p.m. with a non-conference match versus the Dillard University Bleu Devils (6-3) at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of the fight against breast cancer.
