After posting an opening round score of 353 on Monday morning, the Spring Hill College women's golf team posted a 345 on Tuesday to finish the Stonebridge Women's Invitational in Rome, Ga., with a combined 698 (+122) to finish in 13th place out of 18 schools.
Senior Mackensie Jimison of Placerville, Calif., shot a team best 171 (+27) over the two-day event to finish 49th out of 105 participants.
In addition to Jimison, freshman Victoria Gonzalez of Miami, Fla., shot 175 (+31, 61st) and sophomore Shea Bowers from Mobile finished in 63rd position (176, +32). Senior Adrienne Roberts of St. Louis, Mo., shot twin two-day scores of 90 to close with a 180 (+36, 72nd). Senior Jamie Mercurio of Cleveland, Ohio, shot 184 (+40, 75th).
The Lady Badgers play again on October 29-30 at the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championships to be held at the Azalea City Golf Club in Mobile.
