The Spring Hill College women's soccer team closed out the 2013 regular season with a double-overtime 0-0 tie with the Bethel University Lady Wildcats in a Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) contest at Library Field on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Wildcats (4-11-1, 3-7-1 SSAC) and Spring Hill traded blows for 110 minutes, but neither side could find the net as SHC took 17 shots and Bethel took 14 shots in a defensive classic.

Badger goalkeeper Abby Massengale made two saves while her counterpart Savana Smothers made seven saves for the visitors. Spring Hill attempted eight corner kicks and Bethel went for four tries from the corners.

The Badgers (10-7-1, 5-5-1 SSAC) will next play in the Opening Round of the 2013 SSAC Championship Tournament at Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tenn., on Saturday at a time yet to be determined.
