LAFAYETTE, La. – The Spring Hill College men's bowling team finished 3rd of 10 teams at the Southwest Intercollegiate Bowling Conference (SWIBC) II Tournament on Saturday at Lafayette Lanes.
SHC rolled combined score of 7,677 and was 211 pins behind the eventual tournament champion West Texas A&M.
Individually, Brian Bodenheimer of Kenner, La., won a spot on the All-Tournament team with a 5th place finish out of 82 bowlers with a 197.40 average and a total pin count of 987 in five games.
Ryan Hauck of Pen Argyl, Pa., finished in 10th place with a total of 951 pins and an average of 190.20 while Kyle Broussard of New Iberia, La., rolled a score of 919 for 16th position in an average of 183.80, an average improvement of 16 pins over his last outing.
Charles R. Noble Jr of Metairie, La., was 36th in a total of 845 and an average of 169.00 and Chase Broussard of New Iberia came in 54th place in four rounds of action with an average of 176.25 for 705 total pins and a 30-pin improvement on his average from two weeks prior. Kenny Nealon of Coral Springs, Fla., rolled in just one game with score of 133 for 80th place.
SHC will next host the 1st annual Badger Classic at Skyline Lanes in Mobile on Saturday and Sunday.
