TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Spring Hill College women's bowling team finished in 9th place out of nine teams on Saturday and Sunday at the Florida State University Seminole Classic at Capital Lanes.
The Badgers rolled a combined score of 5,077 pins over six games to finish 1,099 pins behind tournament champion Webber International University.
Freshman Rebekah Cowan of Allen, Texas, averaged 181.83 pins per game for an individual finish of 22nd out of 54 bowlers while Miranda Singer of Columbus, Ohio, collected a 177.83 pins-per-game average for a final 26th position.
Darian Miller from Slidell, La., improved her previous outing's numbers by over 21 pins per game with a 166.5 average and a 38th place finish. Jessica Temple of LaSalle, Ill., knocked down an average of 163.67 pins for 41st place and Stephanie Latuso of Mobile rounded out the SHC competitors in 47th place and an average of 156.33 pins.
