The Spring Hill College Department of Athletics has named basketball players Jackson Fos and Tempey Hamilton as its USA ROTC-Spring Hill College Student-Athletes of the Week for their achievements on the court during the weeks of January 6-12, 2013.
Fos, a sophomore guard from Abita Springs, La., scored 30 points in three games this week including his four 3-point buckets and 17 points in the Badger upset of No. 25 Faulkner University on Saturday evening. For the year, Fos is scoring 5.1 points per game with 18 assists and 10 steals.
Hamilton, a senior guard from Murphy High School in Mobile, scored 13 points in the Badgers' game versus Faulkner on Saturday afternoon. For the year, she is scoring 3.6 points with 3.6 rebounds per game while collecting 12 steals and handing out 14 assists.
In recognition of this honor, each week's winners of USA ROTC-Spring Hill College Student-Athletes of the Week award will receive a T-shirt, water bottle and handy gym bag compliments of the University of South Alabama ROTC.
