The Spring Hill College women's tennis team lost a 5-4 Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) decision to Emmanuel College in the morning match, but rebounded to take a 5-4 victory over Southern Wesleyan University in match restarted after a Thursday rain delay in the SSAC Divisional Crossover Round-Up at the Copeland-Cox (Mobile) Tennis Center on Saturday.

In the first match, Emmanuel (1-5, 1-3 SSAC East) took a 2-1 lead after winning the No. 1 and 2 doubles courts. SHC rallied to take three singles victories on Courts No. 2, 5 and 6, but EC wins at 1, 3, and 4 sealed the match for the Lions.

The second match saw Spring Hill fall behind 2-1 after doubles play with the Warriors (0-4, 0-4 SSAC East), but fight back to take wins on single courts No. 2, 3, 4, and 5 with Michelle Gad pulling out a crucial 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 5.
