The 2013-2014 Spring Hill College women's basketball team collected four postseason awards from the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) as announced by the conference on Thursday morning.

Freshman forward Corinne Missi from Yaoundé, Cameroon was chosen as the Badger representative to the 2014 Musco Lighting Champions of Character Team.

Senior guard Tempey Hamilton out of Mobile's Murphy High School, junior guard Bethany Collins of Apex, N.C., and junior point guard Elissa VandeWaa of Spanish Fort, Ala., were named to the 2014 SSAC All-Academic Team. In order to be recognized as an SSAC All-Academic recipient, the student-athlete must be on the varsity roster and currently in her third term of attendance or later and must have earned at least 24 hours. Each student must also have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.25 on the 4.00 scale.
