Men's Cross Country - Sat, Sep. 29, 2007

The Spring Hill College cross country teams performed well at the Gulf Coast Stampede hosted by the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Fla.  The men finished in fifth place of the seven teams competing and first among NAIA schools at the event.  The Lady Badgers placed in fourth position of five teams.

The men's squad finished with an average time of 30:43 over the 8-kilometer course led by junior team captain Patrick Aucoin of River Ridge, La., with a time of 27:30 (6th of 64 runners).  The women recorded an average time of 22:25 over 5 kilometers and were paced by freshman Blakely Duhé of Mobile, who placed 16th of 48 runners with a time of 21:25.

The Badgers next run at the Watson Quality Ford Invitational at Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss., on Saturday, October 13.
