TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Freshman triple jumper Corinne Missi of the Spring Hill College women's outdoor Track & Field team became the first female Badger student-athlete to qualify for the NAIA National Track & Field Championships in the two-year history of the program with an 11.59-meter leap at the Florida State University (FSU) Twilight Invitational on Friday evening.

Missi, a native of Yaoundé, Cameroon, achieved the mark on her third attempt after a foul on her first trip down the runway and an 11.46 jump in her second run. The distance also set her personal-best and a new SHC school record in the women's triple jump.

Freshman throws specialist Brittney Davis of Foley, Ala., also established new school records in both the Hammer and the Discus with a 26.31-meter toss in the Hammer and a 29.34-meter effort in the Discus.
