The Spring Hill College men's and women's soccer teams will host Faulkner University of Montgomery in a soccer doubleheader on Friday afternoon beginning with the women's match at 3 p.m. The two games will kick off the First Annual Spring Hill Soccer Invitational that will also include men and women's matches between Faulkner and Harris-Stowe State University (Mo.) on Saturday at 3 & 5 p.m. and a doubleheader between the Badgers and Harris-Stowe at noon and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Spring Hill's women are currently 0-2 on the season, but opened with tough matches against quality NCAA Division II opposition last weekend. Faulkner's women are 1-2 on the campaign and have been outscored 15 to four in three matches, including a 10-0 loss to Lee University.
On the men's side, the Badgers opened the season with a rain-soaked 0-4 loss to No. 8 AUM while the Eagles have suffered four losses by a combined score of 14-2.
For Harris-Stowe, the women stand at a 1-3 record and the men are currently 1-2-1.
