Head Coach Adam Pearce and the Spring Hill College Athletics Department announced the signing of Kyle Capstick of Collierville, Tenn., to the Lady Badgers soccer team on Thursday afternoon.  A goalkeeper from St. George's Independent School, Capstick will be the first female student from St. George's to play soccer at the collegiate level.

"Kyle will bring a lot to our team in the years to come," Pearce said.  "She is a quality athlete and she also performs in the classroom as well as in extra-curricular activities."  Capstick served as president of St. George's "Bridge Builders" Club for two years and has earned the Presidential Scholarship from Spring Hill College in recognition of her academic excellence and extra-curricular commitments.

Among the honors accumulated in her prep career, Capstick was named to the Memphis Commercial Appeal Best of the Preps All Metro team as a senior and was selected the Regional Goalkeeper of the Year.  She has also appeared on the Tennessee All State team and served as her team's captain in 2007-'08.  Capstick also played basketball and softball at St. George's.
