MOBILE, Ala. -- Spring Hill men's golf finishes 2nd (298-309=607) at the
GCAC Championships Monday at Azalea City Golf Course. The University
of Mobile takes top spot (291-298=589).
Belhaven finished 3rd (297-313=610), followed by William Carey
(301-314=615) and Tougaloo (349-338=687). SHC started the second round
in third place but passed Belhaven by shooting a 309 and taking second
place, just three strokes ahead of the Blazers.
Junior Patrick Jenkins (71-75=146) was the top finisher for the
Badgers for the second time this year. Jenkins finished tied for
3rd with Clay Wilson (71-75=146) from Mobile. Junior David
Lysaught (71-80=151) finished tied for 7th, followed by freshman T.
L. Butts (T11, 77-78=155), freshman Sean Bockerstett (T15,
78-79=157), freshman Will Loweth (T17, 79-79=158), senior Randy Giveans
(19, 81-78=159), sophomore Dan Thouvenot (T21, 84-77=161), sophomore Chris
Ladner (26, 83-84=167) and junior Scott Thouvenot (28, 87-85=172).

The Badgers will travel to Rome, Ga., on October 15-17 to compete in
