MOBILE, Ala. -- Spring Hill tennis names Hans Laub as new head coach announced Friday by athletic director Scott Westbrook.

Laub has been a certified tennis professional for over 12 years with both teaching a coaching experience.  He has aquired numerous tennis awards over the years as a coach and player.  For the past four years, Laub has been the managing tennis pro at Oakwood Swim & Racquet Club in Mobile, Ala. 

"We are very fortunate to attract another top quality coach to Spring Hill athletics," said Westbrook.  "Coach Laub is a very experienced  tennis professional.  I feel blessed that so many great coaches are joining our team.  I know Coach Laub will do a fantastic job with the tennis programs as he is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and has a strong work ethic.  I look forward to working with him.

Laub will manage the SHC men's and women's teams.  The men finished the 2006 season with a record of 6-5 (6-0 GCAC), while the women finished the season with a record of 4-10 (3-5 GCAC).
