SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Spring Hill men's golf placed 11th (311-314-625) after
the final round of the Wilmington Island Club Invitational hosted by
Savannah College of Art & Design.
Junior Patrick Jenkins led the Badgers with a score of 148 (74-74), tying
for 11th overall. Freshman Will Loweth tied for 38th with a two-day
total 157 (78-79), followed by junior David Lysaught who tied for 47th
(79-80-159), freshman T. L. Butts who tied for 51 (81-81-162) and sophomore
Dan Thouvenot who tied for 59th (80-86-166).
Johnson & Whales University (297-285-582) took the win, passing
Berry (292-296-588) and Mobile (295-303-598) in the second round to win by
six strokes.
Brendon Ehlers from Edward Waters (70-70-140) won in a playoff with
Thomas University's Lance Williams (70-70-140).
The Badgers will compete in the GCAC Championships on Oct. 7-9 at Azalea
City Golf Club.
