Junior women's soccer forward Kasey Pruett of Spring Hill College was named the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for her four-goal performance in Thomasville, Ga. over the weekend.
Pruett, a native of Flower Mound, Texas, scored two game-winning goals in double-overtime over the past weekend. The first came with just 32 seconds remaining in the contest at Thomas University to give the Lady Badgers a 4-3 victory. The second came in 103rd minute of a win over NCAA Division 2 opponent Flagler College to notch a 2-1 decision.
So far this season, Pruett has scored 12 goals in just seven contests.
The Badgers (6-1) will travel to Hattiesburg, Miss., on Tuesday to face William Carey University (1-2-1) at 5 p.m. to open the GCAC season.
