The Spring Hill College men's soccer team lost a 5-0 GCAC decision to No. 12 ranked William Carey University on Tuesday afternoon.
The Badgers managed just four shots in the match as WCU keeper Sean Mapsen collected the shutout victory with two saves.  Sophomore SHC keeper Dan Criscione faced 26 shots and made nine saves in the contest.
Carl Reynolds, Jonny Fairbairn, Joseph McNiell, Tito Salas and Orane Swaby each scored for the visiting Crusaders (11-3-1, 2-1).
As a result of the victory, William Carey secured the top seed in the GCAC Tournament and will host Spring Hill in the opening round on Tuesday evening.
The Badgers (4-9-3, 0-3) will wrap up the home season versus NCAA Division II foe West Florida on Senior Night this Sunday at 3:30 p.m. on Library Field.
