The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference named four Spring Hill College women's soccer players to its 2008 All Conference team.  Junior forward Kasey Pruett of Flower Mound, Texas, appeared for the second consecutive season on the first team while senior defender Lynsey Winkler of Chesterfield, Mo., made her first appearance on the first team.
Senior midfielder Sarah Engels and freshman Nina Caputa, both from St. Louis, Mo., were chosen for the second team.
Pruett led the Badgers' offense with 19 goals and three assists for a total of 41 points on the season.  She ranked in the NAIA Top 50 in numerous categories including shots on goal per game (3.11) and goals per game (1.00).  Pruett scored six of the Badgers' 10 game-winning goals this season.
Winkler started all 19 matches for the Badgers as team captain and was a major factor in Spring Hill recording five shutouts in 19 matches this season.
Engels scored five goals with five assists in 2008 for a total of 15 points.  She started all 19 matches for the Badgers and scored one game-winning goal.
Caputa picked up one assist as a defender while starting in 15 matches as a true freshman.
