Spring Hill College men's cross country runners Patrick Aucoin, Will Kirkikis and Mark Kirkikis closed out the 2008 season with strong showings at the 2008 NAIA National Championship Meet on Saturday afternoon.

Aucoin, a senior from River Ridge, La., finished the 8,000-meter course with a time of 27:06.6, placing him 212th of the 331 participants.  His time is the fastest any SHC male runner has turned in at the NAIA National Meet, surpassing the time of 27:49.0 established in 2001 by Jeff Harvath.  The time is also is the eighth best men's 8k time on record at Spring Hill.
