Badgers Sweep Tougaloo Again

Game at a glance
The Spring Hill College baseball team swept the six-game season series with Tougaloo College (4-23-1, 0-20 GCAC) with a doubleheader victory over the Bulldogs by the scores of 6-0 and 8-3 on Saturday afternoon.
In the first game, junior Matt Hasley (1-3) pitched a complete-game one-hit shutout allowing just two walks and striking out seven batters. Left fielder Sam Stewart collected three hits with two doubles and two RBI. His SHC teammates shortstop Blake Nelson and second baseman Tom Connors each added two hits to the Badgers cause with Connors also tallying an RBI.
The second game saw junior Michael Bouché (1-2) pitch six innings and allow two earned runs with two walks and five strikeouts. Mario Garcia completed the game registering two strikeouts in one full inning of work. Stewart matched his efforts of the first game with another three hits. Center fielder Ryan Hall and second baseman Lucas Dobson each added two hits to Badger barrage.
Spring Hill College (10-20, 6-14 GCAC) returns home on Monday to play Lyon College (Ark.) (15-6) beginning at 5 p.m. at Stan Galle Field.
