Spring Hill College saw the Loyola Wolfpack (14-10, 7-7 GCAC) use a 15-point second half turnaround to down the Badgers 83-73 in New Orleans on Saturday night.

Spring Hill held a 39-34 halftime lead and controlled most of the first half, but Loyola took its first lead of the contest at 62-61 with 7:03 on the second half clock and never looked back.

Senior Badger forward Noah Woolridge led all scorers with 29 points.  Jeremy Price added 12 points while Marcus Coleman and Cash Covington each put 15 points in the baskets.  Covington pulled in eight Badger rebounds.

As a team, the Badgers shot 43% (26-61) from the field and made nine of 22 (41%) shots from behind the arc for the second consecutive game.

Loyola’s Luke Zumo had 27 points and Sean Bennett followed him closely with 24 points and eight rebounds.  Mario Faranda also tallied 16 points for the Wolfpack.  Loyola was a blistering 52% (29-56) from the field aided by making 12 of 23 (52%) of their 3-point shots.

Both teams had 34 rebounds and committed eight turnovers.

The Spring Hill College (15-10, 7-7 GCAC) men return to New Orleans on Thursday for a conference game with Xavier University scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
