Men's Hoops Receives Votes for Top 25
If the men’s basketball game on Thursday night between rivals Spring Hill College and the University of Mobile needed any more emotional punch for the participants, the NAIA raters added more fuel to the fire on Wednesday afternoon. In the latest NAIA ratings, the Badgers received their first votes of the year for the prestigious list while Mobile (18-8, 12-3) jumped to No. 22.
Spring Hill (17-10, 9-7 GCAC) will play their third consecutive game versus a ranked team when the Rams of Mobile arrive at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. Last week, the Badgers went on the road and defeated then No. 13 Xavier University-New Orleans and followed that performance by upsetting No. LSU-Shreveport.

So far this season, the Badgers are 5-5 in games against teams that are currently in or have received votes for the Top 25 during the 2007-‘08 season.
