The Spring Hill College Lady Badgers snapped a four-game losing streak with a thrilling 81-80 overtime victory over the Lady Pilots of LSU-Shreveport on Saturday afternoon.  Down 80-79 with just 7.6 seconds remaining in the extra period, junior forward Keisha Forbes of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., collected an offensive rebound off a missed 3-point attempt by guard Sharidan Hollis and put the winning basket through the hoop.

Hollis scored a Lady Badger team season-high 29 points and Rashonda Belton put 17 points in the bucket.  Forbes had 12 points and 10 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season.

As a team, SHC shot 53% (29-54) from the field including 45% from the 3-point line.  The Lady Badgers also made 14 of 20 (70%) free throws for the game.

Edie Leonards scored 23 points for LSU-S (11-14, 7-9 GCAC) and Kacie Cryer pulled in 11 rebounds.

The Lady Badgers (6-20, 5-11 GCAC) host archrival the University of Mobile on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
