Junior team captain Patrick Aucoin of River Ridge, La., finished in the No. 1 position among non-NCAA Division 1 runners at the Watson Quality Ford Invitational hosted by Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss.  Aucoin came in with a time of 26:56.03 over the 8-kilometer course for a sixth place overall finish and fifth among affiliated runners.

As a team, the Spring Hill men finished in second place in their division with an average time of 30:37.89.

Spring Hill will travel to Baton Rouge, La., on October 20 to compete in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Xavier University.
