Assistant Coach- 2nd Season
Keisha Forbes enters her second year as Ray Fron's "right-hand-gal" after one of the top playing careers in Spring Hill College women's basketball history.  Forbes scored 1217 points in four years, ranking her as the 12th leading scorer in SHC history.  She shot 50.6% from the field and was twice selected to the All GCAC team.  Forbes handed out 127 career assists, blocked 19 shots, took away 75 steals and hauled in 600 career rebounds.
 
2008-09: Started all 29 games of her senior season ... All GCAC selection at center ... ranked 13th in NAIA in shooting percentage at 53.8% (171-318) ... scored 432 points ... made 90 of 152 free throw attempts for 59.2% ... collected 204 rebounds (7.0 rpg) with 24 assists, 28 steals and 13 blocked shots.
 
2007-08: Started all 29 games for the Lady Badgers as a junior ... All GCAC selection at forward ... led team with 425 points scored for an average of 14.7 ppg ... ended season 215 points shy of being the 13th Lady Badger to join the "1,000 Point Club" ...  shot .492 (181-368) from the field for the season ... led team with 204 rebounds ... second on team with 58 assists ... 20 steals and four blocked shots ... scored a career-high 27 points versus SUNO on March 4, 2008 ... career-high 14 rebounds versus Blue Mountain College on Nov. 13, 2007 ... ranked in the NAIA Top 50 in field goal percentage, points per game and defensive rebounds per game.
 
2006-07: Played in 26 games as a sophomore ... scored 322 points and pulled in 171 rebounds ... shot 52.5% (129-246) from the field ... 39 assists and 24 steals.
 
2006-05: Played in 14 games as a true freshman ... scored 38 points with 21 rebounds ... six assists and three steals.
 
High School: Prepped at Ft. Walton Beach High School in Ft. Walton, Fla. ... 1st team All Area ... Honor Roll Student.

Head Coach- 3rd Season
Ray Fron begins his third season on The Hill following an extremely successful 12-year tenure as the assistant women's basketball coach at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Mich., where he helped guide the Saints to a 219-150 record.
 
During his tenure with the Badgers, Fron has produced three Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes, an All-Conference selection and a GCAC Champion of Character Award winner.
 
During Fron's time with Aquinas, the Saints won the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) title in 2007, made three NAIA Division 2 National Tournament appearances, reached the NAIA Sweet-16 in 2006, and have had seven players named as NAIA All-Americans.
 
Before joining Aquinas College, Fron was the Girls Basketball Head Coach at Central Catholic High School in Modesto, Ca., from 1992 to 1996 where he led the program to its first ever appearance in the state sectional playoffs and recorded a school-record number of victories.  He was the Girls Head Coach at Riverbank High School in Riverbank, Ca., from 1987 to 1990.  His teams were known in California for their aggressive style of play and strong work ethic.
 
Fron is a dedicated teacher away from the court, as well.  He served as a Special Education Teacher and Department Head at Pinewood Middle School in Kentwood, Mich., from 1999 to 2008.  He received his B.S. in Psychology and Special Education from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich., in 1999 and he will complete his Masters in the Art of Teaching at Aquinas College this fall.
 
Fron was an active prep athlete at Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids where he lettered in cross-country and track while also playing basketball and baseball.  He attended Grand Rapids Community College before progressing to GVSU.
 
A native of Grand Rapids, Fron and his wife Kari are the parents of three children, Lauren, Rob and Tarah.  Lauren and Rob have followed their parents' footsteps into the teaching profession while Tarah is a graduate student.

Statistician- 4th Season
Carlos, a senior majoring in Business Finance/Economics is in his fourth year of gathering the statistics for the Badgers men's and women's basketball programs. In 2009, he also began handling the PA and scoreboard duties at SHC Soccer and Volleyball events. Hailing from Scottsboro, Ala., Carlos was born in Emmen, The Netherlands, and graduated from Scottsboro High School. 
 
Personal: Minors in Math ... favorite food is steak ... favorite movie is Freedom Writers and favorite musical group is The Tempations ... runs triathalons ... favorite athlete is Lance Armstrong and favorite TV show is House ... dreams of one day being the US Ambassador to The Netherlands.

Alexis will move from the court to a Student Assistant position in her second season at Spring Hill College.
 
2009-10: Played in 14 games as a sophomore ... scored 9 points with six rebounds and one steal ... scored 2 points in five different games ... pulled in 2 rebounds vs. LSU-Shreveport on 2/20/20.

Jessica, a senior, also played midfield for the SHC Women's Soccer team for four seasons (2007-10) appearing in 29 matches, including four as an emergency starting goalkeeper as a spohomore.
 
High School: Prepped at Crestview High School in Crestview, Fla. under Soccer Coach Carlos Bonilla ... Senior Class President.
 
Personal: Majoring in English and Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law ... born in Panama City, Florida, but currently resides in Cadillac, Michigan ... favorite foods are sushi, Olive Garden and Tropical Smoothie ... enjoys basketball, traveling, drawing, sports, sleeping and music ... favorite TV show is NCIS, Covert Affairs and That '70s Show and  favorite movies are Office Space and Love & Basketball ...
