Head Coach- 2nd Season
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Kreider played college tennis at the University of Buffalo where he compiled an individual record of 46-4 and earned a national ranking in doubles play. Named the team's MVP as a freshman, he played the No. 1 singles position as a sophomore.
He transferred to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where he earned his Bachelors degree in Political Science in 1994.
Kreider earned his certification from the United States Professional Tennis Association in 1991. At the time, he was one of the youngest professionals to receive the association's highest P1 status.
Currently the Tennis Director at Mirror Lake Tennis Club in Mobile, Kreider has coached all levels of players on the junior circuit with many earning collegiate scholarships. In 2000, he led Cottage Hill Christian School to an Alabama State Championship in the program's inaugural season.

Chris Link moves from the court to the sidelines in his first year as a tennis assistant for Coach Kreider.

Career:  Spent four seasons at SHC with an overall record of 15-34 in singles and a 15-33 record in doubles play ... 2011 SSAC Champion of Character Team member ... 2011 SSAC All Academic Team member.

2010-11: Complied a 2-13 singles record on Court No. 3 and a 6-9 doubles record on Court Nos. 1& 2 ... 2011 SSAC Champion of Character Team member ... 2011 All Academic team member.

2009-10: Built a 5-7 doubles record as a junior playing mainly on the No. 1 court ... went 6-7 while splitting time between the Nos. 1 and 2 singles court courts.

2008-09: Only Badger to play in all 10 Badger singles and doubles matches of his sophomore season ... spent most of season at No. 1 doubles and and No. 2 singles ... built a 3-7 record on the doubles courts and a 2-8 record in singles play ... GCAC Academic Honor Roll.

2007-08: Found himself in a "utility role" during his freshman campaign playing on both the No. 2 and 3 doubles teams and anywhere from No. 6 to No. 4 in singles ... compiled a 1-10 doubles record and a 5-6 singles mark.

High School: Prepped at Trinity High School in Louisville, Kentucky, under Coach Greg Koch ... team won State Championship in 2005-06 ... Team Captain as a senior ... won Most Improved Award as a sophomore ... held team's highest GPA as a senior.

Personal: Graduated SHC in 2011 with a degree in Finance/Economics with a minor in Writing ... born in St. Louis, Mo. ... favorite food is zuchinni pie ... favorite movie is Almost Famous and favorite TV shows are Lost and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia ... favortie athlete is Terence Williams and  favorite musician is Sufjan Stevens ... enjoys basketball, music, piano, Theology, Catholicism, writing, having fun, frisbee golf and English class ... dreams of being a musician, movie director, or screenwriter, but plans a career in business ... nicknamed "C-Money" ... brother to James, Robbie,and Michael ... son of Charlotte and Jim Link.
