2010 Baseball Coaches

Frank Sims starts his 26th season at the helm of the Badgers and has compiled a 650-652-3 record over that timespan.  Over the 27 years he has served as a collegiate skipper, he has accumulated a career record of 686-662-3.  Sims is Spring Hill's all-time winnest coach and his record includes 17 20-win seasons, six 30-win seasons, two 40-win seasons and four GCAC championships.  Spring Hill has appeared in the NAIA Regional Tournament four times in his reign and Sims has been honored as GCAC Coach of the Year on four occasions.

Sim's current total of 686 career wins ranks No. 17 on the NAIA's Top 20 winningest active coaches.

Jared joins the SHC coaching staff after a successful 5-year career as a Badger player.

Career: Played in 87 games with 22 starts in five-year SHC career ... hit .218 with five doubles a triple and four homeruns ... scored 14 runs with 24 RBI ... 12 walks and 46 strikeouts ... .371 slg. pct. ... five errors in 131 chances at first base for a career fielding pct. of .962 and 12 double plays.

2009: Appeared in 30 games with six starts in his senior season ... hit .154 with one double and two homeruns ... scored four runs with nine RBI ... four walks and 19 strikeouts ... one error in 48 toal chances for a fielding pct. of .979 ... GCAC Academic Honor Roll.

2008: Spent most of his junior season as a designated hitter or in a pinch-hitting role ... also saw action at first base ... hit .230 in 35 games with 12 starts ... drove in 13 RBI off 14 hits with three doubles and two homeruns ... held a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 42 fielding chances.
 
2007: Saw action in 19 games with two starts as a sophomore ... hit .316 with two RBI off six hits with a double and a triple ... .474 slugging percentage.
 
2006: Played in three games with two starts as redshirt freshman ... picked up one hit in five at-bats.
