The Spring Hill College men’s golf team posted a 290 score in the third and final round of the Lindenwood University Invitational in St. Louis, Mo., on Tuesday to finish in fourth place out of 15 teams. Overall, the team shot a combined 896 over the three-day event, including an opening round 310 and 294 on Monday.
The Badgers were led by senior Patrick Jenkins of Chandler, Ariz., who shot a combined 219 (+3) for the tournament and finished with a one under 71 on Tuesday.
Conference rival University of Mobile saw a 14-shot lead evaporate on Tuesday as Spring Hill nipped them by one shot in the final score.
The Spring Hill men next play in Rome, Ga., on October 14-16 at the Chick-fil-a Invitational.
