The Spring Hill College Department of Athletics has named basketball players Todd Martin and Tempey Hamilton as its USA ROTC-Spring Hill College Student-Athletes of the Week for their accomplishments during the week of January 23-29, 2012.

JACKSON, Miss. – The Spring Hill College men's basketball team watched as a 12-0 second-half run by the Belhaven University Blazers turned a close contest into a 79-62 BU conference victory at Rugg Arena on Saturday afternoon.

JACKSON, Miss. – 18th ranked Belhaven University proved to be too much of a challenge for a young Spring Hill College women's basketball team on Saturday afternoon at Rugg Arena as the Lady Blazers cruised to a 75-54 conference victory.

Despite a valiant second half rally, the Spring Hill College men's basketball team took a 79-73 conference loss to the University of Mobile Rams at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Thursday night.
