Men's Basketball helps out for Holidays
The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's basketball team helped the less fortunate residents of the Mobile Bay Area by volunteering their time on Wednesday at Feeding the Gulf Coast.

According to Feeding the Gulf Coast officials, the Badgers "sorted and boxed 5,503 pounds of donated food that will provide over 4,230 meals to our neighbors in need this holiday season."

"I'm very proud of our team after today's hard work," said SHC head coach Aaron Niven. "They took time out of their personal schedules to put in several hours of labor to give back to their community and that's what the Spring Hill family is all about – helping out whenever and wherever you can."

Formerly known as "Bay Area Food Bank," the mission of Feeding the Gulf Coast is to "provide nutritious food to meet the challenge of feeding people who are hungry as a result of personal crisis or disaster." To donate, volunteer or for more information, please visit feedingthegulfcoast.org.
