Tim Brooks begins his first season as the SHC Men's Soccer Head Coach. Brooks came to the Badgers after a successful 3-year tenure at the University of Great Falls in Montana where he held an overall record of 24-16-1 after starting the program in May of 2007.
 
At UGF, Brooks' Argonauts squad was a finalist at NAIA Unaffiliated/Independent Conference Tournament in 2009 in only its third year of competition and finished with a 15-5 record. In 2008, UGF compiled an 8-8-1 record in its first full season of play and was a semifinalist at the UIC Tournament.
 
Before taking the reins at Great Falls, Brooks was the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach/Goalkeepers Coach at the University of the Cumberlands from 2004 to 2007 where he twice developed an All-Conference goalkeeper and his teams were ranked as high as No. 20 in the NAIA.

Brooks has worked with four NAIA All-Americans over his coaching career along with 21 All-Conference players, nine Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes and two players who have moved into the ranks of professional soccer.
 
As a player, Brooks was a 2nd Team All American at Cumberland College and earned 1st Team All Conference accolades.  He was chosen his team's Most Valuable player (MVP) and served as the football team's kicker and punter in his senior year.  Brooks spent his freshman year at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla., where he was recognized with selection to the Mid-Continent Conference 2nd Team All-Conference squad and won the 1999 MCC Championship.
 
In 1996, Brooks played for the Under-17 United States National Team where he was a Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) U-17 World Cup Qualifier.

Brooks has been active in the off season with numerous camps and service organizations. He completed his B.S. in Health, Movement and Leisure Studies from Cumberland College, in Williamsburg, Ky., in 2004 and earned a Masters degree in Organizational Management-Human Development from the University of Great Falls in 2009.
 
Tim and his wife, Misty, have a 3 year-old daughter, Faith, and a 1 year-old son, Isaac.
