Gavin joins the Badgers for her first season as the club men's volleyball head coach in 2013. A native of Springfield, Mo., she come to the Badgers after two seasons as the assistant coach at Tyler Junior College (Texas) in 2011 and 2012 where she helped the Apaches reach the NJCAA Regional Tournament and earn a 5th place finish at the national tournament. TJC built a 56-12 overall record during her tenure and earned the first undefeated conference championship in school history. In 2010-11, Gavin served as an assistant coach at Kickapoo High School in Springfield.

Gavin played at Evangel University in Springfield from 2007 to 2009 and led the Crusaders to the school’s first conference tournament championship and its first national tournament appearance. As a freshman in 2006, she played for Peggy Martin at the University of Central Missouri. She earned both her B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in School Counseling from Evangel.
