LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Head coach Alison Sellers-Cook, assistant coach Lauren Biediger and student assistant Jenny Laird of national runner-up Spring Hill College (Ala.) have been chosen as the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) National Coaching Staff of the Year in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as announced by the NFCA on Tuesday.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Spring Hill College softball team received 537 votes and moved up 13 spots to finish the year ranked No. 2 in the final NAIA Coaches Postseason Poll released on Wednesday evening. The ranking marks the highest final ranking for the Badgers in 16 seasons of program history.

GREENWOOD, Ind.– Sophomore catcher Jade Bourgeois of Spring Hill College was named a 1st team member of the Capital One Academic All-America® Team in softball (College Division) as announced by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) on Monday afternoon. This award marks the first time in school history that a Badger student-athlete has earned 1st team status on the prestigious list and is the seventh SHC student-athlete overall to earn a spot on the national roster.

The 10-team event takes place from May 24–30 at the South Commons Softball Complex in Columbus, Ga. The facility was home to the 1998 Summer Olympic Games.
