COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Spring Hill College softball team opened play at the 2013 NAIA National Championship Tournament's Final Site with a 6-3 victory over the 7th-seeded Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) Warhawks in a 14-inning marathon at R.G. Jones Field.

GREENWOOD, Ind.– Sophomore catcher Jade Bourgeois of Spring Hill College was named a 1st team member of the Capital One Academic All-America® Team in softball (College Division) as announced by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) on Monday afternoon. This award marks the first time in school history that a Badger student-athlete has earned 1st team status on the prestigious list and is the seventh SHC student-athlete overall to earn a spot on the national roster.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (Bracket | Live Video) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the official seeds and bracket for the 2013 Softball National Championship final site. The 10-team event takes place from May 24–30 at the South Commons Softball Complex in Columbus, Ga. The facility was home to the 1998 Summer Olympic Games.
