Versus: Reinhardt College
L 0-3

Both Spring Hill’s men’s and women’s soccer teams absorbed losses on the road in Thomasville, Ga., on Saturday.  The Lady Badgers (2-3-0) lost to Thomas University, 2-1, while the men (1-2-1) dropped a 3-0 decision to Reinhardt College.

For the men, Reinhardt College scored off a corner kick in the first half and then added two more goals in the second half to secure the victory.   The second goal came via a miscommunication in goalie box by the Spring Hill defense.  “We had a transition breakdown,” Pearce stated, “and it was very disappointing to see after how hard we had worked over the last two games. We looked timid out there today.”

Spring Hill’s wraps up this road trip when the women play Warner Southern College on Sunday at 11 a.m. followed by the men taking on Thomas University at 4:30 p.m.
