The Spring Hill College men’s soccer team lost a non-conference match at the University of Texas-Tyler by a 2-0 score on Tuesday afternoon.

Cole Brittain scored for UT-Tyler off an assist from Michael Kendall with 10 minutes remaining in the first half and Rudy Galvan scored an unassisted goal at the 54:02 mark.

Spring Hill was out shot 18 to seven and freshman goalkeeper Dan Criscione made six successful saves.

The Spring Hill men (3-9-2) next play at Southern Polytechnic State on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Marietta, Ga.
