The Spring Hill College men’s soccer team lost a non-conference match at Southern Polytechnic State (Ga.) by a score of 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Runnin’ Hornets midfielder freshman Mamadou Danso from Gambia scored just three and half minutes into the contest and later added a penalty kick goal in the 28th minute.

The Badgers have now dropped five consecutive matches and failed to score in eight matches this season.

Spring Hill (3-10-2, 0-2) next plays conference foe William Carey University (7-10, 0-2) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Hattiesburg, Miss.
