The University of Montevallo Falcons took a 6-1 men’s soccer victory away from the Badgers at Library Field on the Spring Hill campus on Saturday evening.  Falcon starters Glen Murphy and Jonathan Maloney each scored first half goals while reserve forward Griff Gowers scored a goal in each period.  Joe Gross and Milan Pualic each scored late second-half goals off the Montevallo bench. 

For Spring Hill, freshman midfielder Cameron Poklemba of Odessa, Fla., averted the shutout by scoring off a penalty kick in the 77th minute of the match.

Montevallo (7-1-1) out-shot the Badgers 30 to four, including 14 to two in shots-on-goal.

Spring Hill (2-3-1) now travels to Huntsville to challenge UA-Huntsville at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
