Versus: Texas College
W 2-0

On Monday, the Spring Hill College women’s soccer team took a 2-0 victory from Texas College in Tyler, Texas.

Sophomore Kasey Pruett of Flower Mound, Texas, scored the opening goal for the Lady Badgers in the first half off a driving shot that arced in over the goalkeeper’s head and senior Laura Pawlik of St. Louis, Mo., followed with a second half goal.  The shut out is the sixth of the season for the Spring Hill women (8-6-1).

“It was a dominating performance today,” said Head Coach Adam Pearce, “We fixed some things that hurt our offense yesterday in Shreveport and continued to really clamp down on our opponents on defense.”

The Spring Hill women next play LSU-Shreveport in a conference re-match at home on Saturday at noon.
