Spring Hill, Mobile Ends in Scoreless Tie

The Spring Hill College and University of Mobile women’s soccer teams renewed their rivalry on Friday night on the Spring Hill campus and after two overtimes and 110 minutes of play neither team could find a goal as the game ended in a 0-0 tie.
Mobile (2-10-1, 1-3-1) out shot the Lady Badgers 17 to nine with sophomore Terri McCreadie of Brampton, Ontario, leading the Lady Rams with five shots and senior Jennifer Huber of St. Louis, Mo., leading Spring Hill’s offense with three shots.
In goal for the two squads, both goalkeepers played excellent games with senior Lady Badger Shannon Netherby of Marmora, N.J., making 12 saves and freshman Lady Ram Susanne Klungtveit of Norway recording five saves.
The Spring Hill women (7-5-1, 2-1-1) next play in Louisiana on Sunday at 1 p.m. versus conference foe LSU-Shreveport.
