Sophomore forward Kasey Pruett of Flower Mound, Texas, was named First Team All Gulf Coast Athletic Conference by the conference coaches on Wednesday.  Along with Pruett, four other Badgers appeared on the second team roster.  Seniors Shannon Netherby, Mary Sullivan and Jennifer Huber were named along with junior Sarah Engels.

Pruett, a transfer from Troy State University, led the Lady Badgers in scoring with 15 goals and six assists for a total of 36 points.  She also recorded five of Spring Hill’s 10 game-winning goals this season.  She was named GCAC Offensive Player of the Week twice.

Netherby, a goalkeeper from Marmora, N.J., recorded a school record 10 wins in 2007 and notched 7.5 shutouts with 71 saves in over 1500 minutes-in-goal.  Sullivan, a defensive player from St. Louis, Mo., started all 18 games for the Lady Badgers and recorded two assists.  Huber, a midfielder from St. Louis, scored nine goals with eight assists in 2007 for 26 total points.  She was second on the team with three game-winning goals.  Engels, also a midfielder from St. Louis, led the Badgers in assists with 14 and added three goals.

The Spring Hill women (10-6-2, 4-2-2) next play LSU-Shreveport on Friday at 11 a.m. in Hattiesburg, Miss., at the GCAC Tournament.
