The Spring Hill College softball team lost to No. 1 Oklahoma City 3-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Gulf Coast Invitational in Orange Beach.

The Lady Badgers (11-10) belted out nine hits in the game, but could not find ways to get runners home.  Catcher Brooke Turlich capped off an excellent weekend at the plate with two hits and Jessica Edgar also collected two hits.

Senior Lauren Herrera (1-5) took the complete-game loss.

The Lady Badgers’ Monday doubleheader with Oklahoma Baptist has been moved from the Spring Hill campus to the University of Mobile and will now begin at 5 p.m.
