CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Lee University Lady Flames moved past the Spring Hill College women's soccer team at the opening round of the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Championship Tournament on Saturday night with a 6-0 victory.
The Spring Hill College Badgers had three of its players selected to the Capital One Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team in District 2 (College Division) as announced by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) on Friday afternoon. Seniors Abby Galen, Lorie Pendergast and Amber O'Connor were each named to the prestigious roster.
The Spring Hill College women's soccer team closed out the 2011 regular season with a 2-0 conference loss at the 5th ranked University of Mobile Lady Rams on Saturday evening.
The Spring Hill College women's soccer team battled to a 1-1 tie with William Carey University in a conference match at Library Field on Tuesday afternoon and in the process clinched a bid to Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) playoffs.
