The Spring Hill College men’s tennis team (1-9, 1-4 GCAC) lost a conference match to No. 24 Xavier University-New Orleans (9-8, 7-0 GCAC) by a score of 7-0 on Thursday afternoon at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center.
Spring Hill’s doubles team of Evan Davis and Brendan Gallagher fell on the No. 1 court 8-6 to Xavier’s Mario Myles and Miroslav Vukicevic. XU’s Vusumzi Kempele and Terry Richardson downed Chris Link and Jimmy Chassaing 8-1 at No. 2 while the Badgers’ Nick Rayburn and Johnny Ngamvilay fell to Mikhail Vaval-Desse and Matthew Walker 8-1 in the No. 3 pairing.
Xavier also won four of the singles matches with the Nos. 1 and 2 courts not finishing.

2. Terry Richardson (XU) vs. Evan Davis (SHC); 5-3 DNF
