The Spring Hill College women’s tennis doubles teams of Lynne Fritscher/Alex Tovar and Catherine Thames/Kameron Paige Malone both reached the semifinal round of the University of West Florida Fall Fling in Pensacola over the weekend before bowing out to higher seeded teams. 

In the consolation bracket, Michelle Brochu/Gina Pambianchi won the finals by benefit of default.

For the Spring Hill women’s singles, Malone ended the weekend with a 3-2 record and reached the finals of the consolation round before falling to Sarah Peters of Alcorn State University (Miss.), 8-4, on Sunday morning.

The Badgers men’s and women’s tennis teams next play at Faulkner State Community College November 8, at 1 p.m.
