The University of West Florida (14-2) proved to be too strong for the Spring Hill College volleyball team taking a 3-0 decision from the Lady Badgers on Tuesday night.  The Argonauts swept through the match with scores of 30-26, 30-19 and 30-20.

Spring Hill senior setter Lindsey Schmidt from Chicago, Ill., served up 24 assists in the loss while her fellow senior Kristen Phillips of St. Louis, Mo., led the squad in kills with nine.  Sophomore defensive specialist Melissa Williams of Fairhope recorded an impressive 18 digs on the evening.

Spring Hill (3-6, 1-1) has now lost six consecutive matches after starting the year 3-0.  The Lady Badgers next travel to Jackson, Miss., to challenge conference opponent Belhaven College on Friday at 7 p.m.
